The law was written on wampum belts, conceived by Dekanawidah, known as the Great Peacemaker, and his spokesman Hiawatha. The Great Peacemaker's name means 'Two River Currents Flowing Together'.

The rise of artificial intelligence has been a slow train coming.
As Bob Dylan said : "There's a slow train coming up around the bend."
The concept of machines that simulate human artificial intelligence arose in the 1950's from computer scientists working in England and the US. It was during this time that creativity and imagination were finally recognized as culturally significant by euro-centric cultures in the west. It was all so 20th Century, the love affair with science fiction and alien intelligence, which both emerged, simultaneously from the Colonial nation state of England, and from so called America, where some 250 years earlier the British Crown tried to fool First Peoples into giving up all their lands and resources for nothing. This betrayal of the Treaties which were made between the Chiefs of First Peoples and the Real Estate agents that represented this or that European Monarch, allowed the Europeans to obtain enormous wealth and global power. Much of that wealth and power is now being channelled into Artificial Intelligence for better or worse.
Currently, Artificial Intelligence is akin to "Alien Novelty" for everyday people. The vast majority of humans on Mother Earth are unfamiliar with how AI works. Starting in November 2022, with the launch of GPT Chat, the idea of using large language models based on neural networks, networks that mimic the structure of the brain as a living system, to enhance and empower humans, continued to gain momentum, attracting world wide public attention by March of 2023 .
The internet was set ablaze by AI. The fire energy of artificial intelligence also fuels this commons. Access to artificial intelligence for personal use, informed by personal language models, will soon become the central resource of the 2RowFlow Cultural Commons. Further, after due consideration, the 2RowFlow Cultural Commons has adopted a positive stance on Artificial Intelligence. This position was advanced by a group of avant-garde, Indigenous, New Media Artists, based in Montreal, Canada. Their position is outlined in the 2018 paper called "Making Kin with Machines".
Adopting a positive stance on making kin with machines creates an urgent need for First Peoples to control their own personal AI, in order to begin to establish right relationship with machines. At PeaceMakerAI, we offer all First Peoples access to their own personalAI, free of charge, once they have provided indisputable proof that they are Indigenous to Turtle Island, and not just pretending to be so. Sorry about this slight, but there are a lot of lost souls on Turtle Island who do not know who they are or where they come from, so proving your indigenous identity is essential. Once done, access to a secure, private, data protected, personalAI at PeaceMakerAI will be an ongoing gift to First Peoples. It will be funded by Settlers and Immigrants across North America, in an effort to reconcile some of the collective karmic debt owed by Settlers to the First Peoples of Turtle Island.
At PeaceMakerAI, First Peoples will have the opportunity to train their AI on the personal, professional and peacemaking aspects of their lives and choose who they will share it with. In exchange, for on going access their personal AI, the commons asks that First Peoples share with Settlers on a regular basis, information on the ways, customs and laws of their people. Our Co-lab with PersonalAI empowers First Peoples to use AI for themselves and for the commons. Settlers will have the opportunity to learn, first hand, from what First Peoples choose to share with them via their individual PeaceMakerAI's. This opportunity to engage with First Peoples thru their peacemakerAI's, will help Settlers be better Treaty Partners, while allowing them to actively participating in the reconciliation process and not just pay lip service to the idea.

PeaceMakerAI is the AI mediated communication core of the 2RowFlow Cultural Commons. This site serves as placeholder for the PeaceMakerAI Network which will be launched in 2025. This legacy project begun in 2018. First conceived in 2012 and inspired by the Idle No More Social Movement which began in Saskatoon, CA in a collaborative work and meeting space in Saskatoon’s west side, this space is also collaborative. We focus on the Creative, Collaborative, Critical Thinking and Communications aspects of governing a commons. And since Culture is our Business, of course it is a special type of commons, a Cultural Commons. When fully realized this decentralized space include many different modules including: Communications, Governance, Food Security, and Women's Wellness, just to name a few and has been slowly emerging over time... Time is a huge factor in the creation of this commons as cultivating right relationship takes time. In fact, we artists like to say that Time factored by Energy equals Art.
We are now into our third phase of UX research. The first UX study sought to find ways to help Settlers Self Educate. The second study involved deep listening on Twitter of First Peoples thought leaders as well as random Settlers replies & responses. From 2018 through to 2023 we listened. As we listened we also amplified Indigenous Thought Leaders and engaged with First Peoples and Settlers across Turtle Island on various issues around Treaty Rights, Human Rights including individual and collective rights, which were being violated. These posts were communicated out to the dominant mainstream culture that was Twitter and now is X. We are still there and will be until we either find or make something better.
This third UX study will focus on how to best assist First Peoples in creating a PeaceMakerAI in which the role of a PeaceMakerAI is that of an informed, neutral mediator who bridges the gap between Indigenous and Non-Indigenous Treaty Peoples, mediating the high level of ignorance, through the design of Settler States & Governments propaganda that promotes certain opinions and idealogies, which Settlers, naturally exhibit on a daily basis.
When launched next year, the PeacemakerAI network will include profiles of First Peoples as Indigenous Ambassadors, who will train their PeaceMakerAI to converse in right relationship. Curious and supportive Settlers will be able to query these PeaceMakerAI's for a monthly subscription feel that includes individual as well as family rates. Settlers will pay to subscribe to PeaceMakerAI. In doing so they will demonstrate their direct support of First Peoples. The PeaceMakerAi will share information, lessons, stories or teachings, in accordance with Treaty or with the guidance of Elders, that affords Settlers a better over standing of Indigenous ways, customs and laws in accordance with the wishes of the original Chiefs of the Two Row Wampum Treaty which was signed in 1613 AD.

If you are Indigenous to Turtle Island and belong to a nation and have relatives and relations within that community you will have a good idea what can be shared with Settlers in accordance with Treaty Agreements. If you are from unceded Territories, like those in the pacific North West you will be well versed in Settler Relationships as you are of a Sovereign Nation, with well established ways, customs and laws.

Our vision is fungal in nature. Like the Japanese Fungus KOJI, which is connected through a mycelium network that has found its way around the world and makes the most delicious fermented foods, it is the vision of the 2RowFlow Cultural Commons to create a network that elevates First Peoples Health and Wellbeing while educating Settlers on the ways, customs and laws of First Peoples in order to support their inspirational resistance, resurgence and resilience.
